In this project, we analyzed the data of /Superstonk and we found that although it is a recently established forum, it has a high level of users and activity. Also, since the forum has a dedicated goal - to focus only on gamestop stocks - stock prices have an impact on the activity level of users. In the nlp section, our sentiment analysis of post content, found that posts with positive sentiment were more likely to receive replies. In the ml section, we build two models, one for predicting whether a post will receive a reply, and one for predicting the sentiment classification of a post. We achieved good accuracy in the former model, which is useful for conducting more recent research in the future.
